Unplanned Emergency or In-patient Services

In case of an emergency or an unscheduled in-patient. Your insurance may still provide some coverage for treatment.

  • The patient signs a consent form before receiving services at the registration.
  • In case there is any excess or deductible, the patient must pay by himself/herself.

3. Unplanned in-patient services

  • Contact the hospital to make an appointment and provide your contact details. 
  • The hospital officer coordinates with the insurance company to verify eligibility and benefits.
  • If there is any excess or deductible, the patient must pay by himself/herself.

Out-patient services

Your insurance company may have specific contract with the hospital to provide cashless for out-patient services under your insurance plan.

Your insurance company may have specific contract with the hospital to provide cashless service under your insurance plan. If cashless service is not in your insurance plan, the patient is responsible to pay for the medical expenses themselves and reimburse directly with the insurance company later. The hospital will prepare medical documents for claims such as medical certificates, receipts for you, etc.

Planned in-patient services

Bangkok Hospital Rayong can assist you to request guarantee of payment prior to admission.

Please bring the following documents, to make the process smoothly.

  1. Passport, ID card or driving license
  2. Insurance card, insurance policy
  3. Other related documents required by your insurance company such as copy of boarding pass, flight ticket, visa stamp, etc.
  • Please note that Bangkok Hospital Rayong reserves the right to refuse a policy from the insurance company at its discretion. The hospital will notify you immediately if your insurance is unacceptable.
  • If the documents are not submitted on time, the hospital will not be able to request guarantee of payment from the insurance. In this case, the patient may have to pay the full amount in cash or credit card. Then, the hospital will issue proof of payment so that the client can bring all documents to reimburse with the insurance company.
  • Patient may have additional expenses to pay which included such as co-payment, deductible , policy excess, extra meal, VIP room or personal expense; telephone calls or drinks etc.
